ChumpCar Atlanta Motorsports Park - Nov. 5, 2013

What an eventful weekend for ChumpCar at Atlanta Motorsports Park.

The TRM team SFR car that David Harrison was in finished a very respectable 3rd. This after running in first for long portions of the day, only to be caught out with pit strategy. Sunday's race was far more exciting. SFR led most of the race only falling back as low as 6th during final pit, and were leading until a major shunt in the final moments. This unfortunate moment took SFR and the P2 car out. The race finished under yellow and SFR fell back to 6th place.

The Harrison Motorsports sponsored JAS E30 finished with a best ever 7th place in the Saturday opener. The JAS managed to finished the Sunday race after surviving a huge early morning shunt and finished 25th.

All in all it was a great weekend. Thanks to those who came out to support us.

2013 NASA South East SpecE30 @ Roebling Road Raceway

Another exciting weekend to the 2013 NASA South East SpecE30 season as TPR's 2 car entries co-sponsored and prepared by Harrison Motorsports competed at Roebling Road Raceway on April 13 & 14.

Racing in an extremely competitive 20 car SpecE30 field, Eric Palacio, driving the lead TPR entry, won Saturday's feature race leading flag to flag, with the senior team driver, Julio Palacio, taking the final podium spot in 3rd place.

On Sunday, with rain on the horizon, the team gambled on pending rain (only cars to run full rain tires) and used their front pack starting positions to hold off the field when the rain held off until race end. The team hung on to 3rd and 6th finishes with Eric (incredibly) leading the first part of the race.

Congratulations to the team on a fantastic start to the season. TPR is currently 1-2 in the SpecE30 season point standings.

The next event is May 18 & 19 at Carolina Motorsports Park.
